Description
The RX Colorado Blade Spinner is a wide-body, high-thump add-on that puts serious vibration into your soft plastic setup without changing your whole rig.
That rounded Colorado profile displaces more water than a willow blade. The vibration is slower, heavier, and lower-frequency — the kind that gets felt before it gets seen. I reach for these when conditions call for it: stained water, low light, slower retrieves, deeper structure. The willow blade is flash. The Colorado blade is thump. They’re doing different jobs.
Clip it onto the rear hook or a split ring at the back of your setup and let it work. Slow-roll it along structure and the blade does most of the thinking for you. On a day when fish are lethargic and not chasing, sometimes that extra vibration is the thing that triggers a reaction. It’s worth experimenting with — clip it on, figure it out, see what they want.
Pair it with the RX Slug and an RX Belly Weight for a slow-roll setup built for depth and feel — belly weight for control, Colorado blade off the back for thump. Same pairing works on the RX Paddle Tail. If you’ve been fishing the RX Willow Blade Spinner and want to compare, run both on the same day and let the fish tell you which one they want.
Works in saltwater and freshwater. Calico bass, spotted bay bass, sand bass, and anything else looking for something with a pulse. Available in gold, silver, and bronze. Made in Los Angeles.
Color guide: Bronze is the call in stained water and low light — it reads warm and gets felt even when visibility is low. Gold pushes warm flash when there’s some sun. Silver is clean and natural in clear water. Play it out and see what the conditions are telling you.
