The RX Dragon Tail is a handcrafted soft plastic bladed jig trailer built for SoCal inshore fishing. That body shape translates blade vibration straight into tail kick — tight on the retrieve, active on the fall. When I want action on the fall without overpowering the head, this is the one I reach for. These are the same handcrafted dragon tails — just a colorway you won’t find anywhere else.

The Chovie Death drop started at a fuel dock after seven hours fishing Spotty Bowl. I cracked open a Dr. Death, took a sip, and thought that’s a color. Three colorways, all gold body bait fish variations. Dr. Chovie is your black back with gold — classic bait fish profile. How to fish it: thread onto the Cheapskate collar for a full SoCal bladed jig setup. Texas rig on a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG hook for weedless standalone use — that body shape naturally tucks the hook under the scale detail without doing anything extra.
